At the Florida Association of Child Life Professionals (FACLP), we aim to support, educate, and advocate for child life professionals in Florida, ensuring the highest standards of care for children and families in hospital settings.
Our Background
FACLP was founded in 1991 by a group of individuals who set out to give a voice to child life professionals in Florida. This group worked tirelessly to create a space where child life professionals could learn, find support, access resources, and find networking opportunities. Today, FACLP has hundreds of members throughout Florida who are dedicated to helping and supporting children and their families through tough times.

We want to make sure that children and their families get the help they deserve from people who care. We strive to educate healthcare providers, hospital administrators, and community organizations about the growing child life profession.
